Day Hospital/Day Clinic provides diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that can be performed without admission to the Inpatient part of the Department. This enables examination and procedures without the need for individual Clinic appointment scheduling, which significantly shortens waiting list for outpatient services as well as reduces need for hospital admissions. At the moment Day hospital is relocating to new facilities. Equipment is partially funded from European funds. This relocation will further increase capacity and efficiency of Day Hospital. All Department’s physicians take part in functioning of Day Hospital with aim of optimal management of cardiovascular diseases.
