The main activity of the Department is based on management of wide range of cardiac patients with special interest in diagnostics and treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, and large blood vessel diseases. The Department is the first hospital unit in Croatia that subspecializes in angiology or blood vessels diseases. The Department has 15 beds. As a multidisciplinary profession, there is ongoing co-operation with the Department of Radiology and the Department of Vascular Surgery.
